I'm a bit lost in life, I feel like I've fallen off a path, and I don't know what to do, or where to go, but I've been told told that if I keep following the light, I will find the path again, or maybe even a new one, and not to be afraid of it, because I will find my way again. And I don't know where that path will take me, but I have to keep going.

If anyone would be so kind as to posting pictures of 2015 and 1967-68 Mustangs, or 996s, I'd greatly appreciate it.

In life there is no such thing as light or dark, and the only way to find the "right" path is to independently examine, measure, and understand each thing you come across alone. No one else is going to be better at measuring which direction you should go than yourself. You just have to first learn how to measure properly.

I am here, where I ended up. And that's where you're headed. I'm 55 (just) and you will wind up where you wind up. The trick is realizing that you have very little control. Just live it. Life will overtake you, like it or not. Just show up, and do your best.

For what it's worth, don't put the whole world's pressure on yourself to get exactly the right degree from exactly the right school and to have it all figured out at this moment. I've worked with many, many people whose careers haven't been what they expected, or what they majored in, or whatever, but they went down a path, discovered new interests and talents, and kept on improving their situations to find more success and satisfaction.

It's a process. Don't be too hard on yourself.

I've pretty much just figured out that nobody knows where they're going in life. Some have a plan, some don't. It never goes exactly according to plan anyway so why worry? As long as you do things that you enjoy and be happy then that's all you need. If you're not happy, then take the time to figure out what will make you happy and do that.

I feel you man. Life is like jazz, the notes are written down but the music is made in the moment. One thing that helps me deal with those kind of feelings is to distract myself by doing things for others and not worrying about myself. Who knows? Maybe by serving others you will find whats right for you.

I'm aware this is a bit late but hopefully it means you'll be more apt to read this..... *ahem*

Once again - You are all of 19 years old. Being lost and having no idea what the future holds is the norm, not the exception. And you have the following advantages. 1) You are young. 2) You are in college into a growing career field 3) you have hobbies that you have a vested passion in.

Once again - stop worrying. You are your own worst enemy in life and you need to calm down. You no sooner come back to oppo and already you're letting yourself suffer at the hands of your own head. Let. It. Go. Accept tnat tomorrow not being the best day ever isn't the end of the world and plan to build your future slowly day by day. SOme days, the best thing you can do is keep your head down, go to class, and do a good job at your crappy temp job and then go to bed at a decent hour. It's part of growing up. Other days? You'll spend 13 hours straight wrenching and racing and then wrenching some more while talking about cars and life and girls with some good friends. But you don't always know when that day will come. It could be this weekend. It could be a year from now. You might have 10 of them in a row. You might put in 6 months before a day like that.........No one knows. ANd anyone who says they do, is lying. SO just chill, take a breath, and accept that none of us know exactly what is going on so it is normal for you to be lost too and be done with it.
